Due to the recent hurricanes in the Tampa, Florida area, CAST regrets to announce the cancellation of the 2024 Student Innovation Conference, which was scheduled for November 19-20. Unfortunately, the severe weather has significantly disrupted many of the programmed activities, including the much-anticipated tours, making it impossible to proceed with the event as planned.
We were truly excited to see the innovative research from all participants and to celebrate the spirit of agricultural science at this event. We are deeply disappointed that we will not have the opportunity to connect in person this year.
Despite this setback, CAST remains committed to fostering innovation in agricultural science and supporting students. We are actively exploring alternative ways to highlight the research planned for this conference and will share updates soon on how students can continue to engage with CAST and our network.
