The Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) is currently seeking dedicated and talented individuals for three open positions that support our mission of advancing agricultural science and technology. 1. Communications Intern (Part-Time) – Hybrid

Compensation: $12.00-$14.00/hour

CAST is looking for a proactive Communications Intern to assist in managing our communications channels, programs, and events. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in content creation, digital communications, and event coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media and website updates.
  • Curate news and assist in producing newsletters.
  • Coordinate programs like “Ask the Expert,” podcasts, and webinars.
  • Assist with video/audio production and graphic design.
  • Provide event and email marketing support.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of video production tools (Adobe Premiere, CapCut).
  • Familiarity with social media management and website platforms (Hootsuite, WordPress).
  • Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.

2. Membership Support (Part-Time) – Hybrid

Compensation: $12.00-$14.00/hour

CAST is hiring a Membership Support professional responsible for assisting with membership activities and coordinating meetings for task forces. This member-facing role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update membership records.
  • Provide technical support for member accounts.
  • Schedule meetings for task force publications.
  • Assist with special events.

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Basic math and bookkeeping knowledge.

3. Business Manager (Full-Time) – Hybrid

Compensation: $24.00-$30.00/hour (plus benefits)

CAST seeks a detail-oriented Business Manager to oversee the organization’s financial operations. This key role involves managing day-to-day transactions, budgets, and IT support.
