These papers are created by recognized experts in their fields and are written in an accessible style to help anyone understand critical issues in agriculture. Publications are listed with the most recent releases first, and the search feature allows members to find specific publications by series, subject, or title.
CAST’s signature newsletters are packed with valuable content. Each weekly issue of CAST Connections includes lead articles on timely agricultural topics, numerous live links to current agricultural news items, advance notices on CAST’s publications and activities, and more. NewsCAST provides CAST members with everything related to CAST on a monthly basis, including information on events and projects, impact reports, and media coverage of CAST activities.
Members can tune in monthly to hear interviews with experts, updates on agricultural trends, and insights into the latest CAST projects. The podcast is designed to provide accessible and engaging content for both students and professionals in agriculture.

Members can participate in this annual conference, where students showcase their research, attend workshops, and network with industry leaders. Open to student members, this event encourages innovation and provides career-building opportunities.
Graduate and professional student members can apply for one of three $1,000 scholarships aimed at developing science communication skills. Scholarship recipients will attend the Student Innovation Conference, with travel expenses covered by CAST.
The Learning Center offers members a wide range of educational materials, from K-12 resources to advanced collegiate and policymaker content. Members have exclusive access to webinars, lesson plans, and resources aimed at fostering knowledge in agricultural science.
Additional benefits are available to CAST’s organizational members. In contribution at suggested amounts provide the opportunity for a seat on the CAST Board of Representatives, participation in the CAST work groups, attending the Annual Meeting and voting rights for CAST elections.
