The Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) hosted a Meet the Expert session with Dr. Keith H. Coble, Vice President of the Division of Agriculture, Forestry, and Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.
A leading voice in agricultural economics, farm policy, and risk management, Dr. Coble has served as Chief Economist for the U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee, published over 100 scientific journal articles and 165+ conference papers, and held leadership roles with the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association (AAEA)—where he is a Fellow—and the Farm Foundation Roundtable.
During the session, Dr. Coble reflected on his career and discussed the evolving role of land-grant research and extension in advancing agriculture and shaping policy.
