The Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) is looking for a Creative Media Assistant (Intern) to join our Communications team. This is a great opportunity for a student who enjoys design, video editing, and digital storytelling — and wants to apply those skills to real-world science communication.
As part of CAST’s mission to deliver credible, science-based information about food, agriculture, and the environment, the Creative Media Assistant will help create visuals, videos, and social media content for CAST programs, publications, and events.
Responsibilities include:

Assisting with graphic design and layout for CAST’s social media and newsletters.

Supporting short-form video and podcast editing.

Helping develop creative assets for CAST publications and campaigns.

Contributing ideas for digital storytelling and visual branding.
Requirements:

Current student in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field.

Familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.

Basic video editing experience (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar).

Creative mindset, attention to detail, and curiosity about science communication.
This is a remote, paid internship (10–15 hours per week) starting Spring/Summer 2026, with flexible scheduling and portfolio-building opportunities.
