Dana Porter is a Professor, Extension Program Leader, and Associate Department Head at Texas A&M AgriLife, based in Lubbock, Texas. Her work focuses on improving agricultural water management and irrigation practices, with particular emphasis on salinity management, water quality, and the sustainable use of water resources in crop production systems. Dr. Porter holds a B.S. and M.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Mississippi State University, and she is widely recognized for her extension leadership and applied research supporting producers in water-limited regions.
