Meetpal Kukal is an Assistant Professor of Hydrologic Science and Water Management whose research focuses on understanding and quantifying water fluxes in agricultural systems. His work integrates evapotranspiration science, irrigation engineering, and soil–plant–atmosphere interactions across scales ranging from soil pores to continental hydrologic systems, with particular emphasis on hydroclimatic variability and change. Dr. Kukal holds a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering and an M.S. in Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, as well as a B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from Punjab Agricultural University.
