Dr. Shengfa F. Liao is an Associate Professor in the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences at Mississippi State University.  He earned his Ph.D. in Animal Science from the University of Alberta, along with an M.S. in Parasitology from Nanjing Agricultural University and a B.S. in Veterinary Medicine from Anhui Agricultural University.  His research and extension work focuses on swine nutrition and swine production, with broader interests in animal nutrition, and he teaches in swine science and production.  He is a member of professional organizations including the American Society for Nutrition, the American Society of Animal Science, and Gamma Sigma Delta.
