CAST produces peer-reviewed publications, hosts expert dialogues, and connects agricultural scientists with policymakers and the public. Your support funds the research, events, and communications that advance evidence-based decision-making in agriculture, food systems, and environmental science.
Contributions to CAST fund:
CAST maintains strict neutrality in all work, providing credible, balanced information without advocacy.
What General Support Funds:
Why General Support Matters:
CAST operates with a three-person full-time staff managing 19 active programs. Unrestricted funding provides flexibility to respond to emerging agricultural issues, invest in technology and infrastructure, and maintain program quality across all deliverables.
What Future Harvest Funds:
Why Future Harvest Matters:
Students at CAST member institutions receive free Student Explorer memberships, providing access to CAST content and programs. Future Harvest funding ensures students can participate fully in conferences, compete for scholarships, and gain hands-on experience in agricultural science communication regardless of financial resources.
The 2026 Annual Meeting & Student Innovation Conference expects 75-150 student participants. Future Harvest support makes this level of engagement possible.
