Isaya Kisekka is a Professor of Hydrology and Agricultural Water Management at the University of California, Davis, with joint appointments in the Departments of Land, Air and Water Resources and Biological and Agricultural Engineering. He also serves as Director of the UC Davis Agricultural Water Center of Excellence, where he leads initiatives focused on sustaining groundwater resources and irrigated agriculture. Dr. Kisekka’s research integrates experimental and modeling approaches to quantify the effects of irrigation on crop production, water balance, water quality, and climate adaptation across scales ranging from groundwater basins to field and soil systems. He holds a B.Sc. in Agricultural Engineering from Makerere University and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from the University of Florida.
