CAST Webinar: Addressing Key Concerns with AI in Agriculture
A direct look at the issues that stall AI adoption: data protection, ownership, cost management and separating science projects from ROI-driven solutions.

Data protection. Information ownership. Cost management. The gap between a proof of concept and a real return on investment. These are the concerns that most frequently stall AI adoption in agricultural organizations — and the subject of the second session in CAST’s AI at Work in Agriculture series.

Dan Maycock, co-founder and chief technology officer of Dataplai and visiting researcher at North Carolina State University, takes a direct look at the issues organizations encounter when moving AI from pilot to production, offering practical approaches to each.

The session is free and open to all, and stands on its own — prior attendance at Session 1 is not required. It is the second of three in the AI at Work in Agriculture series, which runs June 25, July 2 and July 9. Attendees who complete all three sessions through CAST’s online platform earn a certificate of completion.
