We are excited to introduce Meet the Expert, CAST’s newest monthly webinar series designed to connect our members with the leading voices in agriculture. This series will feature accomplished professionals who will share their career experiences, insights, and expertise, providing a unique opportunity for learning and engagement.

Our inaugural session will take place on September 18 at 1 PM CST and will feature Dr. Marty Matlock, a distinguished professor in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at the University of Arkansas – Fayetteville. Dr. Matlock is a recognized leader in sustainability science, with a career that includes serving as Senior Advisor to the Secretary of Agriculture at USDA and as Executive Director of the University of Arkansas Resiliency Center. His impressive resume also includes election to the Board of Agriculture and Natural Sciences of the National Academy of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, and numerous national and international awards.

During this FREE webinar, Dr. Matlock will present on his extensive work in sustainability and will engage in a live interactive Q&A session, offering attendees the opportunity to ask questions and gain valuable insights directly from a leading expert in the field. The webinar will be live-streamed on all CAST social media channels @CASTAgScience, and no registration is required—simply mark your calendar and join us on the day.

But that’s not all—following the main event, CAST members will have access to an exclusive session with Dr. Matlock, where they can continue the conversation and delve deeper into the topics discussed during the webinar.

Meet the Expert is just the first of several exciting new projects that CAST will be launching in September. We encourage you to stay tuned for more announcements as we roll out these initiatives designed to enhance member engagement and provide valuable resources to the agricultural community.
