Dr. Chandra Madramootoo is the former founding director of the Brace Centre for Water Resources Management. His research focuses on addressing water scarcity and climate change through innovative irrigation technologies that conserve freshwater and enhance crop water productivity. He has led numerous international projects and has developed methods to predict crop water requirements and assess water management practices' impacts on greenhouse gas emissions.
