Thank you to everyone who joined CAST and the Society for In Vitro Biology (SIVB) for our recent webinar, AI-Powered Breakthroughs: Transforming Plant and Animal Research. The event featured a dynamic and insightful discussion on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the fields of agricultural and biological science.

We were honored to host two leading experts from Texas A&M University:

  • Dr. Seth C. Murray, a pioneer in maize breeding and drone-based phenotyping powered by AI analytics
  • Dr. Luis O. Tedeschi, a global leader in computational modeling of ruminant nutrition

Moderated by Dr. Deepika Chauhan, Director of Plant Transformation at Pairwise, the session explored real-world applications of AI and machine learning in omics research, plant phenotyping, and precision nutrition modeling.

This webinar builds on CAST’s recent publication, AI in Agriculture: Opportunities, Challenges, and Recommendations, which provides a science-based framework for understanding the evolving role of AI in agriculture.
